Hi! I’m Yue Yuan, an MA TESOL student at the University of San Francisco and a lifelong learner passionate about language education and technology. I’ve taught ESL to learners of different ages and backgrounds, and one thing I’ve learned is this: good teaching isn’t about doing more—it’s about doing it smarter.

In 2023, I moved to California and was struck by two things: how much value the state places on ESL education, and how close we are to the heart of the AI world—Silicon Valley. It made me wonder: if AI is transforming industries everywhere, why not use it to support and innovate in education too?

This website is part of my capstone project, created to explore how AI can empower ESL teachers with practical, accessible, and meaningful tools. I believe that with the right resources and a curious mindset, we can make teaching more effective, less stressful, and even more inspiring.
